Mattermark was built to answer which startups are growing. The question that came back, every time, was smaller: what changed at the ones I care about since I last looked?
StartupGraph answers that now, for agents. Tell your agent to follow a company, a person or a fund. It calls follow, and the thing you named joins a list on your key with a snapshot of what we held that day. Ask again next week and the agent calls watchlist_changes. It gets back what happened since the last time it looked: a round recorded, a role added, a fund's new portfolio listing, a fact verified. The feed remembers where you left off, so "what's new" means what is new to you.
Lists work the same way. Make one for the companies in your fund and one for the founders you have coffee with. A list can hold companies, people and funds together.
And if you would rather not ask: set a list to daily or weekly and we email you what changed. It goes out at 14:00 UTC, morning in the US, and only on days when something moved. No changes, no email. That part is the oldest feature in this category, ten years on. The thing watching for you is a job that runs once an hour, and the thing reading the email can be your agent too.
People data is what you asked for most when the first keys went out, and following a person is where that starts. Today a person's feed is their roles, and the rounds at companies where they currently hold one. Founder histories come next.
What to say to your agent: "Follow Anthropic, Mistral AI and Sequoia Capital, then set my Following list to daily." Free keys read the feed up to the last quarter end, the same rule as the change log, and live keys read to the minute. What counts as a change for each kind is on the docs page.
If you follow something and the feed stays quiet for a week, that is a gap in our data, not in the world. Tell your agent to send what it knows with submit_fact. We check the source and pay in tokens.
